How to create your account on The Sandbox (SAND): Is MetaMask an Option?

Does The Sandbox support MetaMask?

Definitely! The Sandbox and MetaMask go hand in hand. Why? Well, The Sandbox is on the Ethereum network, and guess what? MetaMask is a wallet made specifically for EVM(Ethereum virtual machine) chains.

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of creating your account on The Sandbox (SAND) using MetaMask and get you on your way to exploring and building in the exciting world of The Sandbox.

1. Go to the MetaMask website

       2. Click download            

       3. Click add to Chrome and wait for the installation to complete             

       4. Click on get started          

       5. Click “I Agree “ on the Help us Improve MetaMask page              

       6. Click “Create a wallet” on the “New to MetaMask?” Page               

        7. Create your password and keep it in a safe place            

       8.  Back up your secret phrase and make sure to keep it in a safe place.

         9.  Confirm your secrete backup phrase               

Once you have confirmed your secret phrase backup, you will be redirected to your wallet.

         10.  Go to The Sandbox (SAND) website https://www.sandbox.game/en/

         11. Click on the Sign-Up button                 

        12. On the Sign up page click on Connect My Wallet and select MetaMask and connect your wallet.             

        13. Input the username, email address and password that you would like to use and click continue and confirm your email.
