One of the oldest altcoin exchanges that is still working and i don't recall it been hacked once.
Liquidity is decent (Depending on the project) and there's no faked volume to speak of.
Bittrex also tends to comply with regulators pretty well, and every coin in there is a sign of some sort of quality. This haven't always been the case as there was a time when they listed anything.
