How to set up KASPA KRC-20 Wallet: Add KCR-20 to MetaMask or Phantom?

To create a KASPA KRC-20 wallet, one has to understand the peculiarities of Kaspa’s blockchain and how KRC-20 functions. For instance, KRC-20 tokens are built on the Kaspa network and can’t be stored in typical wallets like Meta Mask or Phantom Wallet. These are Ethereum and Solana-based wallets, and KRC-20 tokens cannot be added at the time of writing. However, there is a better solution, which is the KasWare wallet, because it supports KRC-20 tokens as an integrated Kaspa wallet.

Follow the steps below to set up the Kaspa KRC-20 wallet

     1. Go to Kasware official website https://www.kasware.xyz/        

       2.  Under the Download Link section, click Chrome or Brave             

      3.  Click the Add to Chrome             

     4. Click the Create a new Wallet button        

     5. Create a password and click the continue button            

      6. Copy and save your Seed Phrase and do not share it with anyone.             

     7. Click Continue on the Step 2 section         

   8.  If you have followed the steps correctly you will see a screen similar to the one below
